Matson and Hill in session: RESOLVED: By, the board of County Commissioners of Washington County in regular session not, after P� the inspection of the bridges and material offered by the Horseheads Construction Co., and approval of the same, that we accept the bids submited by the said Company, dated March 4, 1918, for the sale of' two bridgesat the price of #3 83,00 and $3594 each, subject to a rebates of $I76.00 as offered as per cost of inspection, On motion of -Mr. Matson seconded by Mr. pill the above resolution was adopted. (Later concurred in ' by Mr. Barnum,) Loved by Mr. Hill seconded by Mr, Watson that ,faint bids be advertised for the painting of the Mon. ongahela City River bridge, said bids to be re. ceived on April 2, 1918, and opened on said day at II A. M. A copy of each bid is to be filed in Allegheny County and in Washington County. Carried unanimously, m March 250 1918 A Joint meeting bf the Boards of County Commissioners of Payette and Washington Counties was held on the above date, Commissioner Logan Rush and George Hoover. County Zngineer Kephart and County Solicitor Phillips represented Fayette T County and Commissioners Watson, Barnuis and Hill, and County Bngineer Chaney -represents* Washington County. The purpose of the .moeting was to make arrangements for the repairing of the Belle_Vornon Bridge, Jointly owned by Fayette and Washington Counties, I It was moved by mr. Hoover, seconded by Mr. Hill that Messrs, Chaney & Kephart prepare plans :and specifications .-� for the permanent improvement of sub-structure and snperw }* structure of the Belle Vernon Bridge.. Carried unanimouslye l March 27, 1918 Messrs. Watson, Barnum and Hill in session.
