loved by Mr. Hill, seconded by Yr.. Barnum that Mr. P« er
be given the contract for refinishing the doors of the
Court House for the sum of $218.00. Motion carried unanimously.

Moved by Mr. Barnum, seconded by Mr. Watson that Mr. Joseph
M. Carlisle be appointed Assessor for Mt. Pleasant Township
to fill ,vacancy ,caused by resignation of J. M. Caldwell
the regularly elected assessor. Motion carried unanimously.

ttomimencing at the,!end of the present improved road in
the- Village of Venice and extending in a southerly
direction to the township line between Cecil and Chartiers
Townships
is-in Heard of reconstruction,, and setting forth t that said s�
township desires to take advantage of the provisions of the
Act, approved May 31 , 1911 , proliding for the establishment rV
of * ,State Highway Departmen%► etc , therefore be it
Resolved, That we, the said commissioners of Washington
County, in regular session assembled on this day of
1919 also desiring on behalf of said county to take advant-
