September 22, 1919
In session , Messrs. Watson , Barnum and Hill# and the
following resolution was adopted:
{ RESOLUTION CP COUNTY

REAS, It is rovided by Act of Assembly# approved
Mai 31, 1911 , P.L. 46 , that the State Highway Commissioner,
with respect to any State-aid highway contract, shall certify
I to the State Treasurer and to the officials of the respective
county, township or borough concerned therewith , from time
to time during the pefformance of the work, any sum or sums
due from said county, township or borough on the cost of
such improvement, and
WEREAS, The County of Washington has applied for the
aid and cooperation of the State in the reconstruction as
a State-aid Highway of a certain public road from. Bridge
over Chartiers Run at Station 0/00 to Bridge over Miller*s
Run at Station 224/24, at Valley of Venice, State-aid
Application no. 685.
NOWt THEREFORE, PE IT RESOLVED, That the said County
pf Washington pay to than State Treasurer its proportionate
share of the..cost of such State-aid improvement to-grit;
twenty-five ( 25) per centum thereof, within ten days after `
receipt, from time to time during the performance of the work,
of certifications from the State Highway commissioner, showing
the amount of work performed and the material furnished by the
contractor having said contract incharge, &bd that the Commiss.
Aoners of said County, or a majority of thee, be authorized
to 'enter into an agreement with the State Highway Commissioner,
on behalf of the Commonwealth, providing for such paSment '
in the manner aforesaid.

Perrino be appointed Assessor for Independence Towns ,
to fill vacancy caused by resignation of J. M. Moore.
