It was regularly moved and seconded that Washington County at once have placed at each end of the Webster•Donora inter county bridge suitable notice that said bridge is unsafe for travel or traffic , is under repair, and that travel upon or over it is at the traveller' s i risk. Passed unanimously. It was regularly moved and seconded that Washington County 1 , be authorised and instructed to employ the Inspector on the reflooring of said bridge , and .further to employ a temporary Caretaker for said bridge. Messrs. Schuck, Broom and others appeared requesting that the street car rails , be permanently removed from said bridge, but it was pointed out that at the awarding of the contract for the reflooring of-said bridge this question being considered it was the recommendation of the engineer that the street car rails be retained as a measure for further strengthening said bridge , and consequently the contil t pro- video for the continuance of the said street car rails',, and, therefore, no action was taken upon the present request. ,' There being no other business , the ,j oint•meeting regularly ' adjourned. New V. The Gounty of Washington, No 220 May Term, 1918 , and Nathan Avner v. The County of Washington, No 197 February, 1919, and that his fees fixed at $450 for said- services be prwve On motion of Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Baker, the annual commission i or compensation of R. G. Lutton, County Treasurer of Washington County, was fixed , , as follows :- 2% on first $+50,000 Taxes collected 1% on balance of Taxes collected 1/0 of 1 on other moneys received 1/8 of 1% on other moneys paid out, said other moneys paid out not to include the paying off of the principal of loans made to the County. Also allowance of 1OX for each dog license issued. ! The motion was adopted unanimously, , f On motion regularly made and seceded, Chief Clerk H. R. Campbell was instructed to employ Miss Mabel Reed as lien Clerk and such other work ae may be required at a salary of $3.00 per day.
