The following resolution was presented:
RESOLVED, that thd salary of the Chief Clerk for
services as REGISTRAR of all Bonds issued by the county, with the ex-
caption of the first Court House and Jail issue, be fixed at $300-00
per year from January let, 1920, payable quarterly, and that he be re-
quired to furnish bond to the County in the sum of 45 .000 In addition
to his bond as Chief Clerk.
On motion regularly math and seconded, the resolution
was unanimously adopted.
No further business appearing, the Board adjourned,

County Controller was asked for the bids submitted
in accordance with his advertisement for re-surfacing the Charleroi-
Bentleyville, the Meadowlands-Houston, Houston-West Middletown and the
Shaft roads. He submitted the following:.

the County Engineer was direoted to tabulate th6 bids and submit the
figures and the bids to the County Commissioners.

President Johnston announced that bids would be

tabulated and awards made public as soon as possible and that the checks
would be returned to unsuccessful bidders without delay. j
