Mr. Johnston was president and Mr. Boyd the Secretary of the

It was regularly moved and seconded that the trolley rails be
moved from the approaches to both ends of the Webster-Donora ?nter-County

Bridge, spanning the Monongahela River. Potion passed unanimously. "' I
It was regularly moved and seconded that the Counties of 'Washington
and Westmoreland accept the proposition of the Farris Engineering Co7mpany,° Of �

g Pa. , proposition be approved by the Controllers of said ;
counties, said proposition being under date of March 12th, 1920:
"For ,jacking or lifting the shoes, removing, *leaning, relocatfbg
and putting the roller nests in workable condition on the three 184, spaps,•
the one 2201 span and the 5151 or channel span (Webster-Donors Shter-Co Vnty
Bridge) we are pleased to quote you a lump sum price of Five Thousand Fire -
dred ($5500.00) Dollars.
"This quotation is based on the condition that we have the privilege
of removing a portion of the cover plate on the and post of the channel span, 1
which would be replaced in good condition with an additional splice plate,
If you would deem it necessary, and with- the understanding that traffic ,aan
be stopped entirely on the bridge during the short interval of time when we
'were lifting any particular shoe. The price is -also based on the condition 1
that the jacking and other work can be done along at -the time of our other op-
erations and.while part of the dead load is off the bridge and on this tc�cteat
the quotation is offered only for very prompt acceptance."
