Johnston, and Walker; Mr, Rcker had notice but was not present. Motion of Mr,.. Walker sec %ded by Mr. Johnston, that the County Treasurer be instructed to transfer,.- with the approval of the County i Controller, t1te sum of $50,000 from the Road Improvement Fund to the General Fund, said sum to be used for the payment of current expenses of the County, the amount so transferred to be returned to the Road Improvement Fund, as #000 as suffiesent taxes are collected to meet said amount. Motion of Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Johnston that the*Ladies in charge of the Mothers' Assistance Fund be given' permission to male use of the new room or apartment recently constructed in the office used as Sheriff' s Sales Roost in the basement of the Court Howse, for an office to be used in the transaction of such business as many come before them. Motion carried unanimously. Motion of Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston that the polling pl". in the Fourth Precinct of South Strabane Township be changed from the property ofa D McCartney to the office room of William H. Holmes, in accordance with} prayer of a petition to that effect presented to this Board on June 3rd, , at { upon which said petition a hearing was arranged for this date, June 15th, , and no protest or objections to the said change being presented. i Notion carried unanimously.
