Joint meeting of Commissioners of Washington and Fayette Counties, mem-
[ berepresent being as follows:-From Washington County, Messrs. Johnston, Walker

and Baker. From Fayette County, Messrs. Rush and Hibbs; County Engineer McCullough
of Fayette County and County Engineer Chaney of Washington County were also present.
On motion duly ,seconded and carried Mr. Hibbs was made Chairman of the
meeting and Mr. Walker, Secretary. '-
k On motion of Mr. Ecker; ,seconded by Mr. Rush and unanimously carried, it
was decided to request the County Controllers of both- Washington and Fayette Counties
k
to advertise for bids for lifting blocks, reflooring with 3" treaded plank on top
of boards that already are in place, relaying blocks with any new blocks that are
required and re-surfacing with pitch, on Speers-Bellevernon bridge.

On motion duly made, secnded and unanimously carried, Mr. McCullough,
County Engineer of
4 g Fayette County, was given authority to prepare specifications
and plans, same to be submitted to Mr. Chaney, County Engineer of Washington County,
before advertisements were D4repared.
Oh motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Fayette County
Commissioners were authorized to employ an Inspector on the said Speers-Bellevernon
' bridge, the salary and expenses of thesaid Inspector to be borne jointly by the
counties of Washington and Fayette. #
G On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, it was deci eld'.'to
have such painting as may be required on the Brownsville Bridge done by a p44 nt*r , ,
to be selected by the Fayette County Commissioners, the expense thereof to
borne jointly by the two counties.
