Sept, 8, 1920. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, members i present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Raker. Motion of Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Baker, that County Treasurer, be directed to return from tax moneys, in his hands the sum of { $208,662.42 to the Road Fund, said sum having been transferred at various times , by vittue of motions duly adopted: from the general ]mod to,the said Road Fund. Unanimously carried. Motion of Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that W. Be I , Vandegrift . Collector of Taxes in and for the Township of Mast Bethlehem, i a Township of the First Class, be allowed a commission of two (2) percent for collection of state and county taxes in said township# and that a warrant in his behalf be drawn for $318,28, the said sum being two per cent of the I , I total amount of state and county taxes collected by the said W Be vandd$rift up to And including the 31st day of August, 1920, to-wit, $1�,914, 03. Donnan, Bs q. , be granted a ieavezof absence from duty for a period of at least two ( 2) months from. this date, without salary and that Aoward W. Hughes, $sq: ,`be appointed County Solicitor for ab4 during the period of Mr. Doman's absence at the same salary as is received by Mr. .Dorman, to-wit, $125.00 per month , ,payable monthly, and that the name of Howard T. Hughes bo placed upon the pay roll of the county, taking the place of the name of the said A. W, 4 Donnan, during the months that the latter shall be absent from duty, at the rate above indicated, via, $125 per month.
