Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that inasmuoh
as bids for certain alterations and improvements in the office of' the County
Treasurer asked for by the Controller in the form of advertisements, elicited
no responses, that the work in °atemplation, i. e. the construction -of a
partition and passage way therein in the office of the County Treasurer be
r
performed by F. M. Gardner, at carpenter' s day wages, plus cost of material.
Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the Board reed.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Baker, that an appro-
priation from the general funds of the county for the year 1921, in the
w sum of �2500.00 , be made to the Washington County Farm Bureau, payments*to be

made quarterly to the 'Treasurer of said Form Bureau, upon requisitions '
properly signed.
Motion unanimously carried.
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Baker, that the
f i
rate of taxation upon the valuation of the property of the county, in order
to raids sufficient revenue to meet required expenditures for the yeoz, 1921,
be fixed at seven and one-half (?*) mills, the same rate as adopted fe '
year 1520. Motion unanimously adopted.
