Commissioners its regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Baker. Notion by Mr. Johnston, Seconded by fir. Baker,
that Joseph .Liston be appointed night Watchman for,court house and gro�mds
at salary of #100 Per month,- to date from death of ft Murray and said

Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Baker. County Engineer Geo. S. Chaney present I
with tabulation of bids received for reconstruction of W"ngton-West
,
Middletown Road and Zollarsville Road. The figures submitted by the
various bidders were presented to the Board and found to be ae follows:- j
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Raker, that contract for re-
surfacing Zollarsville Road be let to John Herd, at his bid of $48,821.50o
I
with understanding that work is to commence at an early date-and rapidly
pushed to completion. Motion unanimously carried.
Motion by Mr. Maker, seconded by Mr.', Johnston, that contract
for re-surfacing Washington-hest Middletown Road be let to McPherson
Brothers, at their bid of $470204.20, with understanding that work is
to be commenced at an early date and rapidly pushed to completion. Motion
unanimously carried.
