Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Baker. County Engineer Geo. S. Chaney present I
with tabulation of bids received for reconstruction of W"ngton-West
,
Middletown Road and Zollarsville Road. The figures submitted by the
various bidders were presented to the Board and found to be ae follows:- j
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Raker, that contract for re-
surfacing Zollarsville Road be let to John Herd, at his bid of $48,821.50o
I
with understanding that work is to commence at an early date-and rapidly
pushed to completion. Motion unanimously carried.
Motion by Mr. Maker, seconded by Mr.', Johnston, that contract
for re-surfacing Washington-hest Middletown Road be let to McPherson
Brothers, at their bid of $470204.20, with understanding that work is
to be commenced at an early date and rapidly pushed to completion. Motion
unanimously carried.

primary, to-wit , September 20, 1921; Present for County Commissioners,
Mr. Baker of said Board; Messrs. Walker and Johnston having notice of said
meeting, but absent; present for County Controller, -veputy Controller
M. M. Decker; following bids opened in presence of County Commissioner Acker:
Observer Publishing Company, printing and
delivering all ballot required, 03550,00
Hileman's Print Shop, Waynesburg,, printing
and delivering- special Election ballots only $524.90
There hot being a quorm of County Commissioners' Board present, ,

contract would be awarded at meeting of Board of County Vommissioners on

be delivered to the proper officials by William Galley, at the rate of
1.00 per district, question called for; voting "Aye" Messrs„ Johnston
and Walker. Motion carried,
