and that said notes be, paid out of the first funds available to the County ;
Treasurer from the taxes levied for the current year of 1922.

appropriation from the general fund of the County for the year 1922, in
the sum of Thirty-five hundred
Y ($3500.00) Dollars, be made to the
Washington County Farm, Bureau, payments to be made quarterly to the
Treasurer of said Farm Bureau, upon requisitions properly signed.
Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.

The following resolution of the Board of County Commissioners

of the County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said county of
$40,,000.00 in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanimously
adopted by said Board,' to -wit:
WHEREAS,. it has become necessary for the said Board to
borrow the sum of $40, 000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses
for the year 1922 and ;for which taxes have been levied but are not yet
paid into the County Treasurer, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE i
SAID COUNTY OF WASHINGTON, that for the purpose of providing funds for
the payment of current expenses, the proper officers of the said county
are hereby authorized -and directed to negotiate temporary loans and issue
notes therefor, payable on demand, with interest from date; said notes to ,
be negotiated and issued as follows:

County Controller be requested to advertise for bids for one (1) #300 Ruud
Automatic Gas Water Heater, for use in County Jail Building, specifications
to be at offi.ce of County Commissioners. Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.
