That Section 5 of the resolution of said County Commissioners
of July 31, 1922, above quoted be, and the same hereby is, amended to read,
inter alia, as follows:
In the year 1936 $17,455
In the year 1938 19,210 j
In the year 1939 18,965;
and - in all other respects the said Section 5 be and remain as adopted-
Be it further resolved, that this amendment to said resolution

be filed by the Clerk of the Court of Quarter Sessions of Washington County,
Pennsylvania, at the same number and term as the original resolution.
Duly presented and unanimously adopted at a regular meeting
of the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania,

held the llth day of September, 1922, at which all members of the Board,
to wit, Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Ecker, were present.
There being no further business, the Board adjour1ned.

Motion by Mr. Ecker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the
County Controller be requested to advertise for bids for the con'atruction-

the Monongahela Pike, Ginger Hill Section, a-distance of. 19,2501feet, and
the Washington Avenue Road, Finleyville, a distance of 1305 feet'!; also ,
for the furnishing and erection of a fire proof garage, 40x80 feet, on
county property, rear of No • 80 West Beau Street, Borough of Washington;

plans and specifications to be seen at the office of the County ,Engineer.
Motion unanimously carried.

existing emergency, the proposition of the Perkins Structural Steel Company
for the furnishing and erection complete of the Crane, Murray Rill and
Lilly Run Bridges, be accepted as follows: Crane Bridge, $5000.0,0; Murray

Hill Bridge, $5500.00; Lilly Run, Bridge, $1500, subject to the approval of
the County Controller;
question called for; voting "Aye", Messrs. Johnston and Walker;
voting "No", Mr. Baker . Motion carried.
(Mr. Baker requested that his reason for so voting be noted,
to wit; that the said emergency did not exist, to his mind, and that the
matter of procuring the said bridges should be conducted under usual
proceedings. )

Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the County
Controller be requested to advertise for bids for the printing and delivering
to the office of the County Commissioners, approximately seventy-two (72, 000)
thousand official ballots and fifteen thousand (15, 000) specimen ballots, for
the election of November 7th, 1922, specifications to be seen at the Commis-
ion ere' office.
Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.

bids received from the following concerns and opened in the presence of the
County Commissioners: -
