be awarded to Ward Printing Company, at its bid as indicated, subject to
requirements as to pages and contents as might be decided upon by the
Prothonotary and County Controller. Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it
was adjourned.

Commissioners in regular session, members present !'being Messrs.
Johnston and Ecker; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent.
At 11:15 A.M. , joint meeting with County Controller to open
bids for printing and delivering approximately 72,000 Official Ballots and
15,000 Specimen Ballots for use at Special Election of January 18, 1923;
present for County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and Ecker; County
Controller Underwood present; bid from but one firm received, to wit, that
of the Ward Printing Company, which was opened in presence of County
Commissioners and announced, as follows:
For printing and delivering 72,000 Official Ballots- and
15, 000 Specimen Ballots, according to specifications of County
commissioners, , ----- $783.00; said bid being accompanied �by
,certified check, as required.
Motion by Mr . Johnston, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that contract
for printing and delivering the said Official and Specimen Ballots be-
awarded. to Ward Printing Company, of Washington, Pa. , at its bid of $783.00•
Question called for; voting "Aye" Messrs. Johnston and Ecker. ,Motion
carried,
There being no further business before the joint session, it
was adjourned.
