COMMISSIONERS, Office of County Commissioners, Washington, Pa. , March 7, 1922. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Ecker. - The following Resolution was duly presented and unanimously adopted: W BEREAS, the Peoples Natural Gas Company has asked permission to construct a 6-5/8 gas line across the County Brick Road in Centerville Borough, in accordance with Agreement duly presented and to be signed by proper officials; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that the permission asked be granted to the said Company, and- that the Agreement above mentioned, having to do with damages that might occur, etc. , be duly signed by the members of this Board and .when properly signed by the officers of the Company as wellthat the work be permitted to be done. Joint meeting of County Commissioners, County Controller and Poor Board held at 1 P.M., to receive and open bids for electric wiring, etc., in connection with improvements to be made to County Home buildings at Arden, Pa. ; present for County Commissioners, Messrs . Walker and Ecker; for County Controller,, T . J. Underwood; for Poor Board, R. C . Buchanan. Bids from the following concerns were opened in the presence of,.County Commissioners: Stanley Electric Company, Pittsburgh, $832.00 ' Hess & Barton, Pittsburgh 1224.00 Washington Wiring Company, 1160-00 J. E. Brown, 956-00 Motion by Mr. Buchanan, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that the con- tract be let to Stanley Electric Company, of Pittsburgh, Pa. , at its bid of $832.00, this being'.the lowest and best bid received, and that the County Controller return to unsuccessful bidders the certified checks accompanying their bids.
