UNITED STATES OF AMERICA STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA COUNTY OF WASHINGTON ROAD BONDS,SERIES-A,1922 Bond No. 4 1/2% Dated May 1-1922 Principal due May 1-19 . Interest payable semi-annually May 1 and'November 1 Principal and interest payable at the office of the Treasurer of Washington- County, Washington, Pa. SECTION 9. The proper officers of the County of Washington are authorized and directed to make oath to the Statement required by the Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved April' 20-1874, and its supplements and amendments, and file the same in the Office of the Clerk of the Court of quarter Sessions of Washington County. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all resolutions, or parts ,of resolutions, insofar as they are inconsistent herewith, be, and the same are, hereby repealed. Duly presented and unanimously adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania, held April 17, 1922, at which all members of the Board, to wit, Messrs. Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having had personal notice of the meeting, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Ecker. The following resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said county of $20, 000..00 in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanimously adopted .by said Board, to wit: WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the said Board to borrow the sum. of $20,000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1922 and for which taxes have been levied but are not yet paid into the County Treasurer, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the -MINUTE BOOK BOARD OR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA J ELMER JOHNSTON, JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS said County of Washington, that for the purpose of- providing funds for the , payment of current expenses, the proper officers of the said county are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate temporary loans and issue notes therefor, payable on demand, with interest from date; said notes to be negotiated and issued as follows: Names of, Institutions: Amount First National Bank, Charleroi, Pa. $109000.00 Bank of Charleroi, Charleroi, Pa. $100000.00 and that said notes be paid out of the first funds available to the County Treasurer from: the taxes levied for the current year. of 1922.
