BOARD OR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
J ELMER JOHNSTON, JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS
said County of Washington, that for the purpose of- providing funds for the ,
payment of current expenses, the proper officers of the said county are
hereby authorized and directed to negotiate temporary loans and issue
notes therefor, payable on demand, with interest from date; said notes to
be negotiated and issued as follows:
Names of, Institutions: Amount
First National Bank, Charleroi, Pa. $109000.00
Bank of Charleroi, Charleroi, Pa. $100000.00
and that said notes be paid out of the first funds available to the County
Treasurer from: the taxes levied for the current year. of 1922.
There being no further business, , the Board adjourned.

Roth Bridge, over the waters of Taylor's Run and the Avella Arch, over
the waters of° Cross Creek; plans and , specifieations to be seen at office
of County Engineer. - Motion unanimously carried. '
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that action
upon awarding contract be deferred until Tuesday, April 25, 1922. question
called for. Voting "Aye", Messrs. Johnston and Ecker. Motion carried.

Motion by Mr. Ecker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that County
Controller be requested to advertise for bids for delivery of ballots and
Primary Election supplies ( including a few ballot boxes) , to the various
election districts of Washington County, delivery to be made between
Friday, May 12th, and Monday night, May 15th, 1922. Motion unanimously
carried.

The matter of awarding contract for printing and engraving
500 Road Bonds, Series A 1922, for which bids were opened on April 24th,
having ,come up, motion was made by Mr. Johnston,- seconded by Mr. Ecker,
that action upon awarding of said contract be deferred until May let,
1922, after said Bonds shall have been sold, when purchaser may be con-
sulted as to their general form of printing, etc. Motion Unanimously
carried.
There being no further business, the Board_ ad fawned.
