Washington, Pa., December 28, 1922. Commissioners in regular session, members present !'being Messrs. Johnston and Ecker; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent. At 11:15 A.M. , joint meeting with County Controller to open bids for printing and delivering approximately 72,000 Official Ballots and 15,000 Specimen Ballots for use at Special Election of January 18, 1923; present for County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and Ecker; County Controller Underwood present; bid from but one firm received, to wit, that of the Ward Printing Company, which was opened in presence of County Commissioners and announced, as follows: For printing and delivering 72,000 Official Ballots- and 15, 000 Specimen Ballots, according to specifications of County commissioners, , ----- $783.00; said bid being accompanied �by ,certified check, as required. Motion by Mr . Johnston, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that contract for printing and delivering the said Official and Specimen Ballots be- awarded. to Ward Printing Company, of Washington, Pa. , at its bid of $783.00• Question called for; voting "Aye" Messrs.
