BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
J ELMER JOHNSTON, JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS
Office of County Commissioners.
Washington, Pa. , March 9, 1923.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Baker.
Motion by Mr. Raker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Mrs.- Henna
J. Johnson be appointed Assistant Matron at the Juvenile Detention Home, West
Beau Street, Washington, Pa. , at a salary of $35.00 per month, beginning
March 6, 1923- Motion unanimously carried.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Balser, than an award of
$2100.00 be paid to Washington County Farm Bureau for the year 1923, as per
request of said Bureau, payments to be made quarterly. Motion unanimously,
carried.
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.

,Motion by Mr. Johnston! seconded- by Mr . Baker, that the County
Treasurer be requested to transfer, with the consent of the County Controller,
the sum of One hundred thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars from the Road Fund of
the County into the General. Fund thereof, for the purpose of providing funds
for current expenses, said sum to be returned to said Road Fund from tax
moneys to be collected and which have been levied. Motion unanimously '
,carried.
