Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Ecker. The following Resolutions duly presented and adopted. RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washingto County, Pennsylvania, that they deem it expedient to improve under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth approved May 11 , 1911 , the following described section of one of the main roads or highways within said county to-wit: .The section of the public highway leading from Burgettstown to Eldersville, beginning at the point where said road crosses the line between Smith and Jefferson Townships, and extending towards Eldersville a distance of 15,476.3 feet, more or less, all of said road being in Jefferson Township. That an application for the approval of such improvement be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county, and that upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Qa rrt the County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of road in accordance with the surveys and plans therefor which have been prepared by George S. Chaney, County Road Engineer, and in accordance with the pro- visions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements. That an applicatign ,for the approval of such improvement be pre- sented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county; and that upon the ap- proval of such application by -the Grand Jury and Court the County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of road in accordance with the our` veys and plans therefor which have been prepared by George S. Chaney, Country Road Engineerni and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements. RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania, that they deem it expedient to improve under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth approved May 11, 19119 the following described section of one of the main roads or highways within said county , to-wit: The section ,of the public highway leading from Canonsburg to Venice, beginning at the Boro line of Canonsburg on First Street , and extending towards Venice a distance of 3,882 feet , more or less, to the end of the State Aid Highway , all of• said road being in Cecil Township. That an application for the approval of such improvement' be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county, and that upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Court the County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of read in accordance with the" surveys and plans therefor which have been prepared by George S. Chaney, County Road Engineer, and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements. RESOLVED by the County Commissioners' of Washington County, Pennsylvania, that they deem it expedient to improve under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth approved May ll, 19111, the sollowing described section of one of the main roads or highways within said county, to wit : That section of the highway known as the Moffit's Mill Road in West Pike Run Township leading from the Pike Run brick road at Mo•ffitts Mill to the Centreville brick road in West Pike Run Township, a distance of 1243.6 feet. . That an application for the approval of such improvement be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county, and that upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Court the County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of road in accordance with the surveys and plans therefor which have been prepared by George S. Chaney, County Road .Engineer, and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements. RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County, Pennsylvania, that they deem it expedient to improve under the provisions of the Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth approved May 110 19119 the following de- scribed section of one.of,,,.,,the main roads or highways within said county, to- wit: M IN UTE ' BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA J ELMER JOHNSTON JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS The section of the highway known as the Charleroi-Lover No. 2 Road, said section -beginning at the line between Fallowfield and West Pike Run Township, thence by way of the Charleroi-Lover No. 2 Road Through West Pike Run Township towards Centreville, a distance of 8,811 feet, That application for the approval of such improvement ,be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county, and that, upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Court the County Commissioners shall ,improve the said described section of road in accordance with the surveys 7 and plans therefor which have been prepared by George S. Chaney , County Road Engineer, and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid ' and its supplements. Motion by Mr. Ecker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that resig- nation of Mies Estella B. Chubbic, an employee of this office, be accepted, effective this date, and that Mrs R. W. Taylor; an employee mf this office, granted a leave of absence last fall without pay, said leave to continue -until April , 1923, be reinstated in her former position as clerk in the office of the County Commissioners, effective this date, at former salary of $100 per month.
