Motion by Bar. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that bids
should be tabulated by the County Engineer and the result made known at a
later meeting of the Board, at which time action would be taken upon awarding
of contracts and certified checks accompanying bids of unsuccessful bidders'
would be returned.
There being no further business, the Bo adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Walker, that a rewarddof
$100 be offered for the apprehension and arrest of one Samuel Dickerson, r
colored, alleged to have shot and killed one Ernest Johnson, at Washington,'!Pe..,
Saturday evening, September 299, 19 23; district attorneyfe office to be no- i
tified if suspect is taken into custody.
.question called for;voting "Aye" Messrs. Johnston and Walker.'

Motion by Mr. Acker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the
proposition submitted by Supervisors of Independence Township, bearing upon
the construction of the Avella-Manchester Road,.be accepted ; that prop-
osition submitted -by -Borough Council of,Centreville Borough, bearing upon
construction of road in said Borough, be accepted and that proposition sub
mitted by Suporvisors of West Pike Run Township, bearing upon construction
of road in that Township, be accepted.
