Washington, Pa. , March 9, 1923. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Baker. Motion by Mr. Raker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Mrs.- Henna J. Johnson be appointed Assistant Matron at the Juvenile Detention Home, West Beau Street, Washington, Pa. , at a salary of $35.00 per month, beginning March 6, 1923- Motion unanimously carried. •rowwwwa.w+rw Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Balser, than an award of $2100.00 be paid to Washington County Farm Bureau for the year 1923, as per request of said Bureau, payments to be made quarterly. Fund thereof, for the purpose of providing funds for current expenses, said sum to be returned to said Road Fund from tax moneys to be collected and which have been levied. Miller be appointed Assessor in -and--for- the newly created Township of North Bethlehem, these appointments being necessary because of the fact that registration of voters and assessment of property must, be made in said new townships before said offices can be filled by the electors. Motion unanimously carried.
