Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Esker, that all bids -be turned over to County Engineer to be tabulated, upon completion of which task,- the matter of awarding contracts would receive attention. Johnston, that the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars ($150.:00) be appropriated from the County funds toward the cost of a soldiers memorial in Deemston Borough. voucher therefor to be made payable to Mrs. J. E. Berkhimer, secretary of Memorial Committee. (Address - Marianna, R.D. #2, Pa. ) Notion carried: There being no further business, the Board adjourned. Notion by Mr.. Johnston, seconded by Mr . Ricker, that J. ,?. Bigler be appointed Assessor in and for the newly created Township of"West Bethlehem and that E. E. Miller be appointed Assessor in -and--for- the newly created Township of North Bethlehem, these appointments being necessary because of the fact that registration of voters and assessment of property must, be made in said new townships before said offices can be filled by the electors.
