Commissioners in regular session, members present Messrs.
Johnston and Baker; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent.
Motion bJ* Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Baker, that from the
General Fund of the County of Washington in the hands of the County Treasurer
there be appropriated the sum of Twenty-six thousand twenty-six Dollars and
Forty-one Cents ($26026.41) for the use of the Poor District of the County
of Washington, to be paid to the Board of Poor Directors, as the said Board
may request, for the purpose of paying obligations that have been incurred
at the Children's Home and at the County Home, as follows:

Motion _by Mr . Johnston, seconded by Mr.. Baker,_ that the petition
of the Road Supervisors and citizens of Cecil Township be .accepted and that,
in accordance with the prayer of said petition, that the County solicitor and
County Engineer be directed to take the steps necessary to place before the
Grand Jury, for its approval, that section of public road, or highway,

situate in Cecil Township, extending from the line of the Borough of Canons-
burg, on the Bast, to the end of the concrete road, leading to Venice, at
bridge, an approximate distance of 3200 feet, more or less, hs requested in
petition above mentioned. Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the- Board adjourned.

The following Resolutions duly presented and adopted.
RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washingto County,
Pennsylvania, that they deem it expedient to improve under the provisions
of the Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth approved May 11 , 1911 , the
following described section of one of the main roads or highways within
said county to-wit:
.The section of the public highway leading from Burgettstown
to Eldersville, beginning at the point where said road crosses the line
between Smith and Jefferson Townships, and extending towards Eldersville
a distance of 15,476.3 feet, more or less, all of said road being in
Jefferson Township.
That an application for the approval of such improvement
be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said county, and that
upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Qa rrt the
County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of road in
accordance with the surveys and plans therefor which have been prepared by
George S. Chaney, County Road Engineer, and in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements.
RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County,
