JAMES W WALKER W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS James •Cinelli , who shot and killed one Margaret Nestner, and fled, and in whose capture the county officers were much concerned, the payment of the, sum indi- cated having been made at the instance of the District Attorney, and to aid in the early apprehension of the criminal-, who was taken into custody on July 15, 1923. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Ecker. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Ecker, that County Controller be directed to advertise for bids for the printing and delivery of approximately 72,000 official ballots and 15,000 specimen ballots for primary election of -September 18, 19231 ballots to be prepared for various political parties ae apportioned by county commissioners, at whose office the specifications and requirements may be seen. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston and Esker. Motion by Mr. Esker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the County Commissioners enter into an agreement with the Supervisors of Donegal Township, covering the improvement of ( 1) the road from Gordon to the State Line ( 2) the road from Gordon over the hill towards Dunsfort , a distance of 900 feet, more or less, end ( 3) the balance of the Clayeville-Bethany Road already approved by the Grand Jury, with the understanding that all three ( 3) roads' -are to be MINUTE O BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYM VANIA J ELMER JOHNSTON, JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKCR, COMMISSIONERS I surfaced with slag, the County paging three-fourths ( ' ) cost of the 900 feet towards Dunsfort and one-fourth (J) cost of each of the other two sections and I , Sections one ( 1) and two ( 2) mentioned above to be completed this year. Walker, Johnston and Ecker. The following Resolution being duly presented and adopted. i Resolved by the County Commissioners of Washington County, Penn- ; sylvanis;, that they deem it expedient to improve, under the provisions of the I Act of Assembly of said Commonwealth, approved May 110 1911, the following de- scribed section of one of the main roads or highways within said County, to-wit: A section of the public highway leading fr9m Raccoon to Cherry Valley, beginning at the County Concrete Road in the Village of Raccon, and ex- tending in a southeasterly direction via the Cherry Valley Road, through the Village of Cherry Valley, and being in length 14,650 feet , more *or less. All of said road being in Smith Township. That an application for the approval of; such improvement be presented to the Court of Quarter Sessions of said County and that upon the approval of such application by the Grand Jury and Court, the County Commissioners shall improve the said described section of road in accordance with the surveys and plans therefor, which have been prepared by the County Road Engineers and in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly aforesaid and its supplements.
