Washington, PA, August 11, 2011
The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office
Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present:
Commissioners Larry Maggi, Bracken Burns and Diana Irey Vaughan; and Deputy Controller Josh Hatfield. Also being
present: Scott Fergus, Director of Administration; Mary Helicke, Chief Clerk; Lynn DeHaven, Solicitor; Linda Belcher,
Administrative Assistant; Irene Farabee, Finance Office; Chuck Nicholls, Director of Human Resources; Harlan Shober, Joe
Gowen and Frank Bird, interested citizens; Barbara Miller, Observer -Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA.
Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 11:10 a.m.
Moved by Mrs. Irey Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving Minute No. 7-S-11 dated July 14, 2011 as written.
Roll call vote taken:
Mrs. Irey Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes;
Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Hatfield — Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.

HEALTH CENTER — NURSING ADM.
RN Charge Nurse, 55,000.00 to 56,500.00, increase in annual salary, eff. 8/15/11
Moved by Mrs. Irey Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving the foregoing personnel items for the listed offices.
