Washington, PA, December 1, 2011
Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public Meeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office
Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present:
Larry Maggi, Bracken Burns and Diana Irey Vaughan; and Controller Michael Namie. Also being present:
Mary Helicke, Chief Clerk; Lynn DeHaven, Solicitor; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Chuck Nicholls, Director of
Human Resources; Harlan Shober, Commissioner -elect; John Adams, Harry Sabatasse, Carl Maggi, Joe Zupancic and Frank
Byrd, interested citizens; Barbara Miller, Observer -Reporter and Jim Jefferson WJPA.
Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 10:33 a.m.
Moved by Mrs. Irey Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving Minute No. 11-S-11 dated November 3, 2011 as
written.
NOTE: Roll call included Mr. Namie when he entered the meeting.

Irey Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Burns — Yes;
Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes.
carried unanimously.
John Adams made comments regarding the election officials receiving a 3% pay raise.
Namie entered the meeting.)
Cl rk Typist I, 80% - 10.42/hour, create temp. position, eff. 12/1/11. The temp. position will be eliminated when R.
Go don goes on unpaid leave or when she returns to work, whichever comes first.
I, Grade 1— 90% 14.003/hour, create one per diem position, eff. 12/1/11
Moved by Mrs. Irey Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Burns, approving the personnel items as per above.
