Shober, Jr. and Controller Michael Namie. Also being present: District Attorney Gene Vittone, Court Administrator Chris Weller, Director of Administration Scott Fergus; Chief Clerk Mary Helicke; Administrative Assistant Joyce Thornburg; Solicitor Lynn DeHaven; Human Resources Director Chuck Nicholls; Observer -Reporter representative Barbara Miller; and concerned citizen Frank Byrd. Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at apprwdmately 10:47 a.m. Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Shober, approving Minute No. SB 5-2-13 dated May 2, 2013, as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Shober - Yes; Mrs. Vaughan - Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENTS None. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION COURTS On behalf of the Courts, Mrs. Vaughan made a motion to approve the following. uvenile Probation, Patrick Rheam, Job Training Coordinator, $35,009.78/year increased to $36,000/year; increase in annual salary ($990.22) effective 7/1/13 uvenile Probation, Job Training Program Site Monitors, $30,000/year; create two full time salaried positions effective 7/1/13. The positions are grant funded and will be abolished when the grant is no longer effective. uvenile Probation, Community Service/Restitution Coordinator, $32,000/year; Create one full time salaried position effective 7/1/13. The position is grant funded and will be abolished when the grant is no longer effective. 'TITS, FITS Foreman, $10/hour; abolish two vacant part-time salaried positions effective 7/1/13 ITS, FITS Foreman, $25,461.59/year; create one full time salaried position effective 7/1/13 _Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Shober; approving the foregoing personnel requests. loll call vote taken: Mr. Shober — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. :Motion carried. DISTRICT ATTORNEY District Attorney Gene Vittone presented to the Board a motion to approve the following. District Attorney, Victim Advocate, $18,000/year; abolish one vacant part-time salaried position effective 5/16/13. The position was funded by the VOJO grant. District Attorney, Adina Necciai, Victim Advocate, $26,000/year; increased to $30,807/year; Increase in annual salary ($4,807) effective retroactive to 1/1/13. District Attorney, Hollie Zavallo, Victim Advocate, $26,000/year; increase to $30,807/year; Increase in annual salary ($4,807) effective retroactive to 1/1/13. District Attorney, Lisa Wood, Office Manager, $19,536.58/year, increase to $21,536.58/year; Increase in annual salary ($2,000) effective retroactive to 1/1/13. Moved by Mr. Vittone, seconded by Mrs. Vaughan; approving the foregoing personnel requests. Administrative Assistant I, $30,393/year; Create one full time salaried position effective 5/16/13. Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Shober; approving the foregoing personnel requests. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Shober - Yes; Mrs. Vaughan - Yes; Mr. Maggi - Yes; Mr. Namie - Yes. Motion carried. LEAVES OF ABSENCES — May 2.2013 to May 15.2013. Chairman Maggi noted for the record the following leaves of absences: Francis Allen, casework supervisor, FMLA medical; effective 4/29/13 to 5/20/13 Shawn Blumer, correctional officer II, FMLA medical; effective 5/10/13 to 8/2/13 Lisa Carpenter, office manager, FMLA medical; effective 5/9/13 to 6/21/13 Jill Dayton, LPN, FMLA medical; effective 4/25/13 to 6/8/13 Paula Miller, certified nurses aide, FMLA medical; effective 5/8/13 to 5/22/13 Cindy Parks, RN clinical coordinator, FMLA medical; effective 4/5/13 to 4/14/13 J. Preston Pizzi, Asst. public defender - Prelim/MH hearings, FMLA medical; effective 4/22/13 to 7/15/13 Sheearla Satterfield, certified nurses aide, intermittent leave for self; effective 4/23/13 to 7/23/13 Chairman Maggi stated for the record, items noted during 2013 were incorporated into the Salary Book. It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2013 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
