Shober, Jr. and Controller Michael Namie. Also being present: President Judge Debbie O'Dell Seneca; Solicitor J. Lynn DeHaven;Director of Administration Scott Fergus; Chief Clerk Mary Helicke; Administrative Assistant Joyce Thornburg;Human Resources Generalist Carrie Taylor; Deputy Court Administrator Tom Jess; Observer -Reporter representative Barbara Miller, WJPA representative Jim Jefferson; and concerned citizen Frank Byrd. Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 10:55 a.m. :Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Namie, approving Minute No. SB 5-15-14 dated May 15, 2014, as written. -koll call vote taken: '.'vIr. Shober - Yes; Mrs. Vaughan - Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT President Judge Debbie O'Dell -Seneca thanked the Commissioners for examining the LEADER Program which ha.s been in existence since 1999, and is a resbrative type of justice. She stated this program has helped a lot of children over the years by helping to rehabilitate them into law abiding and productive citizens. She explained that this program helps them develop life skills, computer skills and offrs homework help. President Judge O'Dell -Seneca also thanked the Commissioners for the transitional Booking Center which has been in the making for many years. President Judge O'Dell -Seneca also announced that Jeremy Gerba was appointed as Pennsylvani Probation Officer of the Year. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION COURTS President Judge Debbie O'Dell -Seneca presented to the Board approval of the following: Court Reporter, $39,485.16/year; abolish two vacant full time positions in President Judge O'Dell-Seneca's department, effective 6/5/14. Court Technologist, $30,000.00/year; create one full time salaried positionin the Court Administrator's Office, effective 6/5/14. Site Based Monitor, $13.00/hour; create one full time salaried positionin the Juvenile Probation Office, effective 6/5/14. Lead Site Based Monitor, $14.00/hour; create two full time salaried positions in the Juvenile Probation Office, effective 6/5/14 Community Services/Restitution Coordinator; $32,959.99/year; abolish one full time salaried position in the Juvenile Probation Office, effective 6/9/14. Job Training Program Site Monitor, $30,900.01 /year; create two full time salaried positions in the Juvenile Probation Office, effective 6/5/14. LEADER Program Coordinator, $45,000.00/year; create one full time salaried position in the Juvenile Probation Office, effective 6/5/14. Motion carried. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION (Continued) AGING Van driver, pay grade 1— 90% - $15.079/hour; create one part time position effective for a period oftwo months beginning when a selected candidate starts in the position. Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Shober, approving the foregoing personnel request. Roll call vote taken: Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Shober — Yes; Mrs. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried. Chairman Maggi stated for the record items noted during 2014 were incorporated into the Salary Book. It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2011 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
