Shober, Jr.; Controller Mike Namie. Also being present: Solicitor J. Lynn DeHaven; Director of Administration Scott Fergus; Chief Clerk Cynthia B. Griffin; Administrative Assistant Joyce Thornburg; Interim Human Resources Director Andrea Johnston; Finance Director Josh Hatfield; Observer -Reporter representative Barbara Miller and WJPA representative Bruce Sakalik. Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 10:27 a.m. Moved by Mrs. Vaughan, seconded by Mr. Namie, approving Minute No. SB 2-15-18 dated February 15, 2018 as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Shober — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION PUBLIC DEFENDER Mrs. Vaughan presented to the board on behalf of Glenn Alterio, Public Defender; Assistant Public Defender; Start — 85%-$62,584.00; create one (1) full-time union position effective 3/1/18. Moved by Mrs. Vaughan; seconded by Mr. Shober, approving the foregoing personnel request. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Shober — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. CHILDREN AND YOUTH SERVICES Children and Youth, Program Specialist; $42,164.00/year increased to $57,500.00/year; increase in annual salary for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 3/1/18. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES BHDS, MR Program Specialist I; $49,194.05/year reduced to $47,905.60/year; reduction in annual salary for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 3/1/18. It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2018 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
