Roanoke Iron & Bridge Company that there would be another two week delay in

explanation, and we will then follow-up on that.
Warden suggested that some of the prisoners be allowed to wash and wax
some of the County vehicles that need cleaning.
Remarks:
Mr. Gilmore: The problem is there are no facilities down there or drains, but
once we get the addition put on, we can look into this program.
Judge Sweet: I have no objections in letting them clean the County cars. I see,
no problem in cleaning the cars that are assigned to individuals.

(Mr. Paluso entered the meeting.)
Discussion was held concerning the increase in operating costs at
the Jail due to the increase in population.
Warden Taylor stated they are running 12 prisoners over the average
population, and wondered if they would run over the projected budget for this
year if the population kept up at this rate.
Judge Sweet asked the Warden to find out what the costs are per day
to feed a prisoner in other counties.
Moved by Mr. Mascara, seconded by Judge Sweet, approving payment of
the bills for the month of February, 1980. Motion carried by unanimous vote
