PRISON BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Minute No. 7-P
Washington, Pa., July 9, 1980
The monthly meeting of the Prison Board of the County of Washington
met in the Commissioners' Conference Room at 11:45 a.m, with the following
members being present: Commissioners Mascara, Gilmore and Paluso, and Controller
Stache. Absent being: Judge Sweet, District Attorney Bigi and Sheriff Fazzoni.
Also being present: Warden Taylor.
Moved by Mr. Mascara, seconded by Mr. Gilmore, approving payment of
the bills for the month of June, 1980. Motion carried unanimously by vote cast
by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".
Warden's Report
Warden Taylor reported a population of 80 prisoners with 3 federal
prisoners, 2 from Montgomery County and 1 from Fayette County.
Warden Taylor suggested that the openings in the screens that were
cut out several years ago to replace light bulbs be repaired in order to stop
the flow of contraband going in and out of the Jail.
The Board recommended that the Warden obtain proposals for the
necessary repair work.
