Chief Deputy Sheriff Littleton requested that the Warden, in the future,
include in his report the number of inmates seeing physicians and/or dentists
(i.e., via Sheriff's deputies transporting said inmates to the hospital or
'dentist's/doctor's office).
;'Old Business:
The Board members briefly discussed the surcharge matter relative to
collection and disbursement of prisoners' wages which was dismissed by Judge Acker.
Bills:
It was noted for the record that neither the Controller nor her Deputy
were present due to their attendance at the State Controller's Association con-
vention and that Controller Beharry did not send a representative of her office
to this meeting to present the bills for approval. Mr. Paluso requested that it
be noted for the record that the Controller would not present the bills for no
good reason.
Moved by Mr. Littleton, seconded by Mr. Petrosky, approving the payment of
the bills for the months of June and July, subject to subsequent scrutiny by the
Board. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by
stating "Aye".
There being no further business, Chairman Mascara declared the meeting
adjourned at approximately 11:50 a.m.
