Discussion was held relative to the home incarceration program.
Reference was made to a recent incident in Allegheny County where there was a
breach of the program. Warden Pelzer noted that even though there may be some
problems, the only ones our jail has experienced have been very minimal.
District Attorney Pettit noted that Allegheny County only monitors their home
incarceration inmates every other day whereas our jail monitors the inmates
daily.
