The monthly meeting of the Washington County Prison Board was held in the 7t' Floor Conference Room,

Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Vice Chairman Burns and Commissioner Irey;

Sheriff Larry Maggi; Deputy Controller Mike Namie; Deputy Warden John Temas; and Judge Gilmore. Absent being:

Chairman John Pettit; Judge Gladden; Warden Joe Pelzer. Also present: Marlene Luketich, Director of
Administration; Michelle Miller, Chief Clerk; Richard DiSalle, County Solicitor; Gary Stofko, summer employee in the
Budget and County Commissioners Office; Malea Moye, (Washington High School student shadowing Sheriff Maggi);

Judy Chestnutt, Observer -Reporter; Jim Jefferson, WJPA.
Vice -Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at approximately 11:38 a.m. and asked if there were any
corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No. 6-P-00, dated June 21, 2000. Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mrs.
Irey, that Minute No. 6-P-00 be approved. Motion carried unanimously with the Board signifying their approval by
stating "Aye".

Deputy Warden Temas presented the following information to the Board:
Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for June. 2000:
Other Counties (Fayette and Greene) $ 13,440.00
U.S. Marshal 5,300.00
U.S. Marine Corps 50.00
Administrative Fee 1,758.57
Monthly Sub Total 20,548.57
Year to date GRAND TOTAL $163,891.85

Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Maggi, accepting the Warden's Report as per above. Motion
carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".
BILLS
Deputy Controller Namie presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the bills for the
month of June, 2000, in the amount of $56,332.85.
Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Mrs. Irey, approving the bills for the month of June, 2000. Motion carried
unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and made a part
hereof.)
There being no further business, Vice -Chairman Burns made a motion to adjourn the meeting at approximately
11:44 a.m.
Moved by Commissioner Irey and second by Mr. Maggi, to adjourn.
