The monthly meeting of the Washington County Prison Board was held in the Washington County Correctional
m Facility, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners John P. Bevec, Diana
Irey and J. Bracken Burns, Sr.; District Attorney John Pettit; Sheriff Larry Maggi; Controller Paul Belcastro. Absent

being: Judge Gilmore. Also being present: Warden Joe Pelzer; Cathi Kresh, Chief Clerk; Solicitor Richard DiSalle;
Linda Belcher, Secretary; Jim Jefferson, WJPA and Judy Chestnutt, Observer -Reporter.

Chairman Pettit called the meeting to order at approximately 11:40 a.m. and asked if there were any
corrections, additions or omissions to Minute No.11-P-00, dated November 22, 2000. Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded
by Mrs. Irey, that Minute No. 11-P-00 be approved. Motion carried unanimously with the Board signifying their
approval by stating "Aye".
WARDEN'S REPORT
Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board:
Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for November, 2000:

U. S. Marshall 9,700.00
U. S. Army 300.00
Administrative Fee 1,210.73
Monthly Sub Total 13,690.73

Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Bevec, accepting the Warden's Report as per above. Motion
carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".

PRISON BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
BILLS
Controller Belcastro presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the bills for November, 2000 in
the amount of $43,783.93.
Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Mrs. Irey, approving the bills for November, 2000. Motion carried
unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and made a part
hereof.)
OLD BUSINESS
Chairman Pettit brought to the Board's attention the matter of an Executive Session that was held last month
pertaining to a personnel matter and suggested an Executive Session be called at this time to further discuss the matter.
The meeting reconvened.
There being no further business, Chairman Pettit made a motion to adjourn the meeting at approximately
12:40 p.m.
