Bevec, Diana L. Irey and J. Bracken Burns, Sr.; Sheriff Larry Maggi and Controller Michael Namie. Absent being: Judge Debbie O'Dell Seneca and District Attorney John Pettit. Also being present: Cathi Kresh, Administrator/Chief Clerk; Richard DiSalle, Solicitor; Michelle Miller, Director of Human Resources; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Warden Joe Pelzer; Randy Vankirk, Deputy Controller; Linda Metz, Observer -Reporter, and Jim Jefferson, WJPA. Vice Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at approximately 11:35 a.m. and entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 4-P-03. Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Maggi, approving Minute No. 4-P-03 as written. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". WARDEN'S REPORT Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board: Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for April, 2003: U.S. Marshall $ 5,250.00 Administrative Fee 248.22 Monthly Sub Total 5,498.22 Year to date GRAND TOTAL $ 32,426.42 Program Fees and Room and Board Income for the Month of April, 2003: Billed Collected Work Release/Home Detention $12,397.52 $12,839.52 Weekenders 3,975.07 3,855.07 Turned over to Clerk of Courts (Minus) -0- Adjustments made to billings (Minus) -0- Monthly Sub -Total 16,372.59 16,694.59 Year to date GRAND TOTAL $ 62,752.67 $ 63,454.67 Status of prisoners confined at the end of April, 2003: Full Time Work Release Weekend prisoners Unsentenced prisoners Awaiting sentencing and/or trial TOTAL PRISONERS Examinations performed by the physician New commitments Repeat patients MALES FEMALES TOTAL 80 12 92 52 2 54 27 5 32 131 15 146 290 34 324 MALES FEMALES TOTAL 117 35 152 Medical Transports performed by the Sheriff 4 42 110 Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Mr. Bevec, accepting the Warden's Report as per above. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". z/6 MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA BILLS Controller Namie presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the bills for the month of April, 2003 in the amount of $85,036.95. Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Mr. Irey, approving the bills for the month of April, 2003. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and made a part hereof.)
