Washington County Prison Board
Washington, PA, Oct ober 15, 2003
The Washington County Prison Board was held at the Washington County Correctional Facility, Cherry Way,
Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners John P. Bevec, Diana L. Irey
and J. Bracken Burns, Sr.; District Attorney John Pettit and Controller Michael Namie. Absent being: Judge Debbie
O'Dell Seneca and Sheriff Larry Maggi. Also being present: Cathi Kresh, Administrator/Chief Clerk; Richard
DiSalle, Solicitor; Michelle Miller Kotula, Director of Human Resources; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant;
Warden Joe Pelzer; Linda Metz, Observer -Reporter and Stacey Wolford, Valley Independent.
Chairman Pettit called the meeting to order at approximately 12:05 p.m. and entertained a motion to approve
Minute No. 9-P-03.
Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mrs. Irey, approving Minute No. 9-P-03 as written. Motion carried
unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".
WARDEN'S REPORT
Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board:
Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for September, 2003:
Society Security $ 200.00
Homeland Security/ICE 2,528.76
U. S. Marshall 6,200.00
Administrative Fee 2,931.93
Monthly Sub Total 11,860.69

Controller Namie presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the bills for the
month of September, 2003 in the amount of $84, 657.01.
Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Mr. Bevec, approving the bills for the month of September, 2003. Motion
carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and
made a part hereof.)

There being no further business, Chairman Pettit declared the meeting adjourned at approximately
