Bevec and J. Bracken Burns, Sr.; Sheriff Larry Maggi and Controller Michael Namie. Absent being: Commissioner Diana Irey and District Attorney John Pettit. Also being present: Cathi Kresh, Administrator/Chief Clerk; Richard DiSalle, Solicitor; Michelle Miller Kotula, Director of Human Resources; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Warden Joe Pelzer; Linda Metz, Observer -Reporter and Jim Jefferson, WJPA. Vice -Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at approximately 12:10 p.m. and entertained a motion to approve Minute No. 10-P-03. Moved by Mr. Bevec, seconded by Mr. Maggi, approving Minute No. 10-P-03 as written. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". WARDEN'S REPORT Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board: Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for November, 2003: Society Security $ 400.00 Green County 15.64 U. S. Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Judge O'Dell Seneca, approving the bills for the month of October, 2003. Motion carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and made a part hereof.) OLD BUSINESS None • NEW BUSINESS Warden Pelzer noted ten inmates enrolled in the GED Program at the facility recently passed their exams. Vice Chairman Burns questioned the Board if it was their desire to continue to meet at Noon in 2004. Judge O'Dell noted the time would be fine but asked if it would be possible to arrange the meetings when the courts are not in trial. Vice Chairman Burns directed Ms. Belcher to work with Judge O'Dell Seneca and the court trial schedule to determine if this is possible.
