Washington County Prison Board
Washington, PA, June 8, 2005
The Washington County Prison Board Meeting was held in the Washington County Correctional Facility,
Cherry Way, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners Larry Maggi,
Bracken Burns and Diana Irey; President Judge Debbie O'Dell Seneca; Controller Michael Namie; and Sheriff John
Rheel. Absent being: District Attorney John Pettit. Also being present: Warden Joe Pelzer; Scott Fergus, Director of
Administration; Mary Helicke, Chief Clerk; Lynn DeHaven, Solicitor; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant;
Michelle Miller Kotula, Director of Human Resources; Barbara Miller, Observer -Reporter, Jim Jefferson and intern
Emily Catalone, WJPA and Manuel Yocolano, an interested citizen.
Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 11:40 a.m. and entertained a motion to approve
Minute No. 5-P-05.
Moved by Mrs. Irey, seconded by Judge O'Dell Seneca, approving Minute No. 5-P-05 as written. Motion
carried unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".

WARDEN'S REPORT
Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board:
Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for Mav, 2005:
Social Security $ 3,200.00
Administrative Fee 2,871.95
U. S. Marshal 12,448.56
Monthly Sub Total 18,520.51
Year to date GRAND TOTAL $ 73,512.94
