HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOMM - Meeting Minutes - SB 4-15-21 - 4-15-2021 - SALARY411 MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLANIA IMR LIMITED E1316649LD Salary Board Minute No. SB 4-15-21 April 15, 2021 The Washington County Salary Board met in session in the Public fleeting Room of the Courthouse Square Office Building, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Diana Irey Vaughan, Larry Maggi, Nick Sherman and Controller Mike Namie. Also being present: Solicitor Jana Grimm; Human Resources Director Shelli Arnold; Executive Secretaries Marie Trossman and Randi Marodi; Chief Clerk Cindy Griffin and Administrative Assistant Joyce Thornburg. Mrs. Vaughan called the meeting to order at approximately 10:29 a.m. Moved by Mr. Sherman, seconded by Mr. Maggi, approving Minute No. SB 4-1-21 dated April 1, 2021, as written. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Sherman — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION DISTRICT ATTORNEY Mrs. Vaughan presented to the board on behalf of District Attorney Eugene Vittone, District Attorney -Victims' Services, Victim Advocate; $11.25/hour increased to $22.42/hour; increase in hourly salary for one (1) vacant part-time salaried position, effective 4/15/21. The position will be abolished when the funding is no longer available. Moved by Mr. Sherman, seconded by Mr. Maggi approving the foregoing personnel request. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Sherman — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES BHDS, MH Program Specialist I -Planning & Development; $35,785.20/year increased to $36,606.92/year; increase in annual salary for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 4/15/21. BHDS, ID Director; $63,760.09/year reduced to $55,806.84/year; reduction in annual salary for one (1) vacant full-time salaried position effective 4/15/21. Moved by Mr. Sherman, seconded by Mr. Maggi approving the foregoing personnel request. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Sherman — Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Mrs. Vaughan — Yes; Mr. Namie — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. LEAVES OF ABSENCES — April 1. 2021 to April 14.2021 Mrs. Vaughan noted for the record the following leaves of absences: Melissa Aberegg, Program Specialist, FMLA-Medical, 04/01/21 to 04/30/21 Marcia Harvey, MDJ Clerk, FMLA-Medical, 03/09/21 to 06/01/21 Christine Johns, Cashier II, FMLA-Medical, 03/29/21 to 04/26/21 Eric Keranko, Information Technology Technician, FFCRA, 03/18/21 to 03/31 /21 Kelsey Pagac, Coordinator II, FMLA-Maternity, 02/24/21 to 05/19/21 Eileen Retamal, Casework Supervisor, FMLA-Medical, 03/19/21 to 06/11/21 Cole Vaughan, Correctional Officer I, Military leave, 04/08/21 to 08/09/21 Donald Waugh, Deputy Warden -Operations, FMLA-Medical, 04/07/21 to 05/26/21 Mrs. Vaughan stated for the record, items noted during 2021 were incorporated into the Salary Book.
