Minute No. PB 01-07-25 January 7, 2025
The meeting of the Washington County Prison Board was held in in the Public Meeting
Room G17 of the Crossroads Center at 95 West Beau Street, Washington, Pennsylvania,with the
following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman and Larry Maggi; Judge John
DiSalle; Sheriff Anthony Andronas; District Attorney Jason Walsh, and Controller Heather
Sheatler. Also present were Chief of Staff Daryl Price; Solicitor Gary Sweat; Human Resources
Director Andrea Johnston; Chief Clerk Cindy Griffin and Administrative Assistant Debbie
Corson; Warden Jeffrey Fewell, Correctional Facility Chaplin Mike Pierson, Deputy Warden
Chris Cain and Major David Coddington; Administrative Assistants Heather Wilhelm and Casey
Grealish; Human Services Administrator Dr. John Tamiggi and Deputy Administrator Tiffany
Milovac; and Deputy Controller Brittany Mosco.
Mr. Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 11:01 a.m. and Correctional
Facility Chaplain Mike Pierson led the meeting with an invocation.
Mr. Sherman entertained a motion to approve Minute No. PB 12-17-24 dated
December 17, 2024.
Moved by Mr. Maggi to accept the minutes as written. Mr. Andronas seconded the
motion to approve Minute No. PB 12-17-24 dated December 17, 2024.
The motion was carried with the Board signifying their approval by stating"Aye."

BOARD'S RESPONSE
None.
WARDEN'S REPORT
In Correctional Facility news, Warden Fewell reported, as of this morning,
January 7, 2024, the facility had a population of 327 inmates.
Warden Fewell respectfully requested the Prison Board cancel January 21, 2025 and
February 4, 2025 Prison Board meetings.
Warden Fewell respectfully requested the Prison Board approve an addendum to the
current PrimeCare contract for the implementation of the county's Medication for Opioid Use
Disorder administration within the Washington County Correctional Facility.
The cost of diagnosis, staffing, treatment and medications will be $362,859.81. Funding
can be operational increase in current jail budget of 3%or taken out of inmate welfare funds.
This proposal is contingent upon Board of Commissioners approval.
Warden Fewell then requested an executive session for personnel and litigation reasons.
Upon returning from executive session, Mr. Walsh made the motion to accept the
Warden's report as presented. Mr. Maggi seconded the motion.
The motion was carried unanimously with the Board signifying their approval
by stating"Aye."
