MOTION BY SALARY BOARD MEMBER—
To approve Minute No. SB 2-6-25 dated February 6,2025.

CHAIRMAN—NOTES FOR THE RECORD—All leaves of absence that occurred since February 6,
2025 until the present are to be noted for the record.
CHAIRMAN NOTES FOR THE RECORD—It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural
errors in the 2025 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.

DA-Victims Abolish one (1) part-time salaried position effective
Services Victim Advocate $24.496181/hour 3/6/25.
Create one (1)full-time salaried position effective
DA-Victims 3/6/25. The position would be abolished when the
Services Victim Advocate $38,811.34/year grant funding ends.

effective 5/1/25 through 9/1/25. These positions will
be funded by the Records Improvement fund and will

Salary Board Minute No. SB 2-6-2025 Washington County Commissioners
Washington,Pa., February 6, 2025
The Washington County Salary Board reconvened in Public Meeting Room G-16 of the Crossroads
Center at 95 West Beau Street,Washington,Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the
following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman,Larry Maggi, Electra Janis via
Zoom and Controller Heather Sheatler. Also present were: Chief of Staff Daryl Price; Solicitor Gary
Sweat; Executive Administrative Assistants Casey Grealish and Randi Marodi; Chief Clerk Cynthia
Griffin and Administrative Assistant Debbie Corson.
Chairman Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 10:25am.
Chairman Sherman entertained a motion to approve Minute No. SB 1-23-25 dated January
23, 2025 as written.
Moved by Ms.Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi.
Roll call vote taken:
Ms. Sheatler—Yes;Mr. Maggi—Yes;Ms.Janis—Yes;Mr. Sherman—Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None. I
FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION
Mr. Sherman entertained a motion, on behalf of Children&Youth,presented to the board
Program Specialist;Reduction in annual salary from$58,349.50/year to $55,000/year for one (1)
full-time salaried position effective 2/8/25.
Moved by Ms.Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi, approving the foregoing personnel request.
Roll call vote taken:
Ms. Sheader—Yes;Mr. Maggi—Yes;Ms.Janis—Yes;Mr. Sherman—Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
LEAVES OF ABSENCES—January 23, 2025 to February 5, 2025
Chairman Sherman noted for the record the following leaves of absences:
Garcia,Benisa, Correctional Officer 1,WCCF-Security, 1/29/25 to 4/25/25
Krepps,Brad, Caseworker II, Children&Youth, 1/8/25 to 2/12/25
Welshans,Michael,Utility Worker, Parks, 1/21/25 to 2/28/25
Wise,Alexa, Clerk Typist II, Recorder of Deeds, 2/3/25 to 4/28/25
Chairman Sherman stated for the record, that all leaves of absence that occurred since
January 23, 2025 until the present are to be noted for the record. It is the consensus of the Salary
Board that any procedural errors in the 2025 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively
by Human Resources.
There being no further business, Chairman Sherman declared the meeting recessed at
approximately 10:26 a.m.
