HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-10-16_Salary Board_SB 10-16-25_Minutes_APPROVED 601 MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLANIA IMR LIMITED E1316649LD Salary Board Minute No. SB 10-16-2025 Washington County Commissioners Washington,Pa., October 16,2025 The Washington County Salary Board reconvened in Public Meeting Room G-16 of the Crossroads Center at 95 West Beau Street,Washington,Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman,Larry Maggi, Electra Janis and Controller Heather Sheader.Also present were: President Judge Valerie Costanzo; Court Administrator Dan Buzard; County Administrator Daryl Price; Solicitor Gary Sweat;Executive Administrative Assistants Heather Wilhelm,Casey Graelish and Randi Marodi; Chief Clerk Cindy Griffin;Administrative Assistant Debbie Corson and WJPA Journalist Joe Jasek. Mr. Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 10:42a.m. Mr. Sherman entertained a motion to approve Minute No. SB 10-2-25 dated October 2, 2025 as written. Moved by Ms.Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi. Roll call vote taken: Ms. Sheatler—Yes;Mr. Maggi—Yes;Ms.Janis—Yes;Mr. Sherman—Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION Mr. Sherman entertained a motion, on behalf of the Court Administrator,presented to the board by President Judge Costanzo, Magisterial DJ Secretary, abolish one (1) vacant full-time union position at Pay Grade 7—90%-$22.037/hour effective 10/16/25. Moved by Ms.Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi. Roll call vote taken: President Judge Costanzo—Yes;Ms. Sheader—Yes;Mr. Maggi—Yes;Ms.Janis—Yes; Mr. Sherman—Yes. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Sherman entertained a motion, on behalf of the Court Administrator,presented to the board by President Judge Costanzo,Magisterial DJ Clerk, Create one (1) full-time union position at Pay Grade 4—90%-$21.315/hour effective 10/16/25. Moved by Ms.Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi. Roll call vote taken: President Judge Costanzo—Yes;Ms. Sheader—Yes;Mr. Maggi—Yes;Ms.Janis—Yes; Mr. Sherman—Yes. Motion carried unanimously. LEAVES OF ABSENCES—October 2,2025 to October 15, 2025 Mr. Sherman noted for the record the following leaves of absences: Wachinski,Katherine, Enforcement Officer 11, Domestic Relations, 10/15/25 to 10/15/26 Meek, Samantha,Clerical Supervisor Il,Planning, 10/21/25 to 12/2/25 Heinlein,Nicole,Program Specialist, Children&Youth, 11/18/25 to 2/9/26 602 MINUTE BOOK SALARY BOARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLANIA IMR LIMITED Eiat-5441-D Mr. Sherman stated for the record, that all leaves of absence that occurred since October 2, 2025 until the present are to be noted for the record. It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2025 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
