The Washington County Salary Board reconvened in Public Meeting Room G-16 of the
Crossroads Center at 95 West Beau Street,Washington,Pennsylvania, for the purpose of
reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman, Electra
Janis, and Larry Maggi;Controller Heather Sheatler,Treasurer Tom Flickinger,President Judge
Valarie Costanzo,Public Defender Rose Semple.Also present: District Attorney Jason Walsh;
Sheriff Anthony Andronas;Clerk of Courts Ray Phillips;Register of Wills James Roman; Coroner
Timothy Warco;Director of Public Relations Nicole Ford, County Administrator Daryl Price;
Executive Administrative Assistants Heather Wilhelm, Casey Grealish and Randi Marodi;Chief

Mr. Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 3:01p.m.
A motion was made by Mr. Sherman to approve Minute No. SB 12-4-25, dated
December 4, 2025.

MOTION FOR 2026 \VAGES
Mr. Sherman presented the 2026 wages on the respective departmental salary schedules,
which reflect the negotiated wage increases for union employees as negotiated with the Service
Employees International Union (SEIU) 668, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)
Court Appointed/Court Related 668, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal
Employees,District Council 84 (AFSCME—Probation Officers), the Teamsters 249 (District
Attorneys and Public Defenders) and the Deputy Sheriffs Association of Washington County Local
900, IUPA,AFL-CIO (DPSA). These wage rates are effective 1/1/26.

Mr. Sherman entertained a motion to approve that the salaries of the National Correctional
Employees Union (NCEU) will remain the same as in 2025 since a contract agreement has not been
reached. The salaries of the Pennsylvania Social Services Union Local 668, SEIU will remain the
same as in 2025 since a contract has not yet been approved by the Board of Commissioners.
