MOTION BY SALARY BOARD MEMBER — To approve Minute No. SB 3-19-26 dated March 19, 2026. Chairman asks for PUBLIC COMMENTS. ELECTED OFFICIAL: (COMMISSIONER TO CALL SHERIFF TONY ANDRONAS) BOARD'S CONSIDERATION Tony Andronas — Sheriff MAKE MOTION PER AGENDA MOTION — (made by Salary Board Member) To approve the remaining personnel request found on the FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION chart. CHAIRMAN — NOTES FOR THE RECORD — All leaves of absence that occurred since March 19, 2026 until the present are to be noted for the record. CHAIRMAN NOTES FOR THE RECORD — It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2026 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources. RECESS FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION - APRIL 2, 2026 DEPARTMENT CURRENT POSITION CURRENT SALARY NEW POSITION REQUESTED SALARY NOTES Sheriff Deputy Sheriff I Start - $23.69/hour Abolish one (1) part-time position effective 4/2/26. Sheriff Deputy Sheriff I Start - $23.69/hour Abolish one (1) vacant part-time position effective 4/2/26. Sheriff Deputy Sheriff I Start - $27.40/hour Create one (1) full-time union position effective 4/2/26. Sheriff Summer Employee $15.00/hour Create one (1) position, not to exceed budget amount, effective 5/1/26 through 12/31/26. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION - APRIL 2, 2026 DEPARTMENT CURRENT POSITION CURRENT SALARY NEW POSITION REQUESTED SALARY NOTES Children & Youth Casework Supervisor $66,109.99/year $64,184.45/year Reduction in annual salary for three (3) vacant full - time salaried position effective 4/2/26. Salary Board Minute No. SB 3-19-2026 Washington, Pa., March 19, 2026 The Washington County Salary Board reconvened in Public Meeting Room G-16 of the Crossroads Center at 95 West Beau Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman, Larry Maggi, Electra Janis. Also present were: WJPA Journalist Joe Jasek; County Administrator Daryl Price; Chief Clerk Cindy Griffin; Administrative Assistants Debbie Corson, Heather Wilhelm, Casey Graelish and Randi Marodi. Mr. Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 2:40 p.m. Mr. Sherman entertained a motion to approve Minute No. SB 2-19-26 dated February 19, 2026, as written. Moved by Ms. Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Maggi — Yes; Ms. Janis — Yes; Mr. Sherman — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None. FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION Mr. Sherman entertained a motion presented to the board for the extension of one (1) temporary employee position at $15/hour, not to exceed budgeted amount, effective through 4/30/26. Moved by Ms. Janis, on behalf of the President Judge, seconded by Mr. Maggi. Roll call vote taken: Mr. Maggi — Yes; Ms. Janis — Yes; Mr. Sherman — Yes. Motion carried unanimously. LEAVES OF ABSENCES — February 19, 2026 to March 18, 2026 Mr. Sherman noted for the record the following leaves of absences: O'Neil, Lora, Fiscal Technician, Children & Youth, 2/2/26 to 2/12/26 Bedillion, Dilanne, Legal Assistant, Domestic Relations, 2/26/26 to 3/15/26 Harris, Mackenzie, Site Based Monitor, Probation Services, 3/19/26 to 6/10/26 Barlow, Thomas, Fiscal Officer lll, Children & Youth, 3/9/26 to 6/1 /26 Macik, Jordan, Magisterial DJ Clerk, Court Administration, 4/21 /26 to 7/13/26 Mr. Sherman stated for the record, that all leaves of absence that occurred since February 19, 2026 until the present are to be noted for the record. It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural errors in the 2026 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.
