CHAIRMAN NOTES FOR THE RECORD — It is the consensus of the Salary Board that any procedural
errors in the 2026 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively by Human Resources.

County offices.

Salary Board Minute No. SB 4-2-2026
Washington, Pa., April 2, 2026
The Washington County Salary Board reconvened in Public Meeting Room G-16 of the
Crossroads Center at 95 West Beau Street, Washington, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of
reconvening with the following members being present: Commissioners Nick Sherman, Larry Maggi,
Electra Janis and Controller Heather Sheatler. Also present were: Sheriff Anthony Andronas,
Solicitor Michael Cruny; County Administrator Daryl Price; Chief Clerk Cindy Griffin; Director of
Public Relations Nicole Ford; Administrative Assistant Debbie Corson; Executive Administrative
Assistants Heather Wilhelm, Casey Graelish and Randi Marodi.
Mr. Sherman called the meeting to order at approximately 10:47 a.m.
Mr. Sherman entertained a motion to approve Minute No. SB 3-19-26 dated March 19, 2026
as written.
Moved by Ms. Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi.
Roll call vote taken:
Ms. Sheader— Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Ms. Janis — Yes; Mr. Sherman — Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
FOR THE BOARD'S CONSIDERATION
Mr. Sherman entertained a motion presented to the Board by Sheriff Andronas, for Deputy
Sheriff I, Start - $23.69/hour; Abolish one (1) part-time position effective 4/2/26.
Moved by Ms. Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi.
Roll call vote taken:
Ms. Sheatler— Yes; Mr. Maggi — Yes; Ms. Janis — Yes; Mr. Sherman — Yes.
Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Sherman entertained a motion presented to the Board by Sheriff Andronas, Deputy
Sheriff I, Start - $23.69/hour, Abolish one (1) vacant part-time position effective 4/2/26.
Moved by Ms. Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi.

Employee, $15.00/hour, Create one (1) position, not to exceed budget amount, effective 5/1/26
through 12/31 /26.

Mr. Sherman entertained a motion, on behalf of Children & Youth, presented to the board,
Casework Supervisor, Reduction in annual salary from $66,109.99/year to $64,184.45/year for three
(3) vacant full-time salaried positions effective 4/2/26.
Moved by Ms. Janis, seconded by Mr. Maggi.

Motion carried unanimously.
LEAVES OF ABSENCES — March 19, 2026 to April 1, 2026
Mr. Sherman noted for the record the following leaves of absences:

Holsopple, Alexander, Booking Center Monitor, Probation Services, 3/5/26 to 3/5/27
Reihner, Torrey, Purchasing Card Administrator/Buyer, Purchasing, 4/9/26 to 5/7/26
Mr. Sherman stated for the record, that all leaves of absence which occurred since
March 19, 2026 until the present are to be noted for the record. It is the consensus of the Salary
Board that any procedural errors in the 2026 salary schedule book may be corrected administratively
by Human Resources.
There being no further business, Mr. Sherman declared the meeting recessed at approximately
10:48 a.m.
